About

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and have been creating art since I could hold a pencil. I went on to major in Graphic Design and moved to Pensacola, FL in 1987, where I’ve worked as a technical illustrator, a designer for a scuba magazine, and with several advertising agencies.

While raising my daughter, I explored a variety of mediums—pastels, watercolor, linocuts, and even leather work. In 2018, I took an online oil painting course that helped accelerate my growth as a painter. I began with still lifes, florals, and landscapes, eventually expanding into portraits of pets and people as my confidence and skill grew.

In May 2025, I was honored to receive Best of Show for a portrait of one of my coworkers. That recognition gave me the final push to open this store—to share my art, tell my story, and connect with others through my work.
